Our Facilities

Safe, Comfortable & Accessible
Treatment Rooms

PHYSIOPAEDICS CHILDREN'S PHYSIOTHERAPY is located at 28 Queen Street, Narellan (opposite Narellan Library). It is a single-storey house with level access at the front which is easily wheelchair-accessible.

We have off-street parking at the front of the building, or you can park across the road at the library or at Narellan Town Centre.  We allow the driveway to be used for those with mobility difficulties or in wheelchairs.

We pride ourselves on the unique, ‘homely-feel’ of our clinic rooms which help children feel relaxed and comfortable the moment they arrive.  Our rooms are designed for children to have fun and enjoy their physiotherapy – with plenty of toys, children’s equipment, games, bright colours and artworks.  It is set up different to the usual medical rooms, having a more “play-area environment” that children can relate to and feel comfortable when attending appointments!

We even have a large backyard which we use for some physiotherapy sessions with totem tennis, a full-size basketball ring, stomp rocket and soccer equipment.

We also use the local area to provide physiotherapy in natural environments that your child would use – to get more specific practice of their skills.  This includes doing their physiotherapy at the library playground, along the park footpaths to practice bike or scooter skills and at Nott Oval soccer field to work on their sports-specific skills.

Payment / Funding

NDIS and Private Patient Payment Options

Physiopaedics Children’s Physiotherapy has a range of payment methods available depending on your circumstances and diagnosis.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

If your child has NDIS funding that is “Self-Managed” or “Plan-Managed” then you can use your funding to access our Physiotherapy services.

PRIVATE PATIENTS

We accept cash, EFTPOS or credit card payments including Amex, and we have HICAPS facilities available for your convenience.

Private Health Insurance

We are a registered provider with most private health insurance funds.  We have HICAPS facilities available meaning your rebate can be claimed on the spot – so you only have to pay the gap.  * Please note: Health fund rebates vary, so you will need to contact your health fund directly to find out how much they will cover.

Medicare Rebates – GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP)

[previously known as the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan or Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan]

This program enables those with a chronic (long term) medical condition that has lasted (or is likely to last) for at least 6-months to be able to get Medicare-subsidised benefits for allied health services that help manage their condition.  You will need to discuss this with your GP to determine if your child is eligible to claim rebates under this program.  If they are eligible, your GP will provide you with the relevant documentation that you must bring to your appointment with us in order to claim the rebate.  The GPCCMP program enables clients to receive a partial rebate for up to 5 sessions over a calendar year – it does not cover the whole treatment cost, so you will be required to pay the gap.

We have Medicare facilities available to enable you to claim this rebate at the time of payment.

THIRD PARTY FUNDING

If your child has any third-party funding (from DCJ, OOHC or other organisation), or compensable claim such as “Lifetime Care and Support (LTCS)”, please provide us with all your paperwork / contact information of the funding organisation so we can organise payment for your Physiotherapy treatment directly with them.
